Memorial Day
Memorial Day serves as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by brave individuals who laid down their lives in defense of our nation's freedoms. The first national observance of Memorial Day occurred on May 30, 1868. Then known as Decoration Day, the holiday was proclaimed by Commander in Chief John A. Logan of the Grand Army of the Republic to honor the Union soldiers who had died in the Civil War.

Anna Jarvis of Philadelphia, whose mother had organized women’s groups to promote friendship and health, originated Mother’s Day. On May 12, 1907, she held a memorial service at her late mother's church in Grafton, West Virginia.

Palm Harbor Apartments is pet friendly, allowing dogs and cats to live in the units, with a 25lb weight-limit for dogs and no aggressive breeds. One time non refundable fee of $400, and $25 monthly pet rent.
